Think Outside

Education Resource Center

As COVID-19 keeps our schools virtual, Outdoor Adventures by Boojum is happy to announce the launch of the Education Resource Center, a space where students can come to complete their online classes and schoolwork. Students will be separated by grade into isolated small groups under the supervision of an adult facilitator. Students will bring their own computer/device and anything else they need to complete their work, and they will have access to a desk and chair, internet, and support from the facilitator should they run into any issues. After their school day is over, students will have the opportunity to participate in both indoor and outdoor activities for some much-needed (distanced) social time with other children. We will be enforcing strict protocols for health screening, distancing, disinfection, and other important measures for the prevention of the spread of COVID-19.

Grades offered: 5th-12th

Days offered: Monday through Friday, Tuesday/Thursday, or Monday/Wednesday/Friday

Times offered: 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM or 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM

Sample after-school activities: Non-contact outdoor sports, teambuilding initiatives and group games, ecology and nature hikes, arts and crafts, yoga and mindfulness, mapmaking and orienteering, outdoor skills, and physics/engineering activities.

Location: We are in the process of scouting locations that will provide an environment that is conducive to learning, play, and COVID-19 prevention. We are considering locations in both Temecula, Perris, and Lake Elsinore.

We are currently gauging interest among parents/guardians to fine-tune our offerings. If you are interested in sending your child to Boojum’s Education Resource Center, please fill out the short survey linked below. We appreciate your input!
