Think Outside

LARP

As opposed to traditional role-playing games (board games, video games), in Live Action Role-Playing (LARP), participants physically portray their characters. Players pursue goals within a fictional setting represented by the real world while interacting with each other in character.

During this program, participants will have the opportunity to dive into a fictional realm where knights, shades, zombies, and magic come to life. They will create their fictional character, join a guild, and work as part of a team to clear dungeons, build water-war machinery, and even slay a dragon. Not only will they have fun in this fictional world, but they will learn about the Hero’s Journey, make lasting friendships, and use the engineering design process.
