How can our children save our environment if they never experience it?
Every year there are thousands of youth who will never get to experience the outdoors in any significant, connected way.
Every year the Boojum Institute endeavors to get more youth, who normally could not afford a camp or outdoor education program, outside and reconnected with nature. These youth learn about environmental stewardship, develop positive peer relationships and leadership skills, and build their self-confidence with Boojum and nature as their guides. On a daily basis, these at-risk young people overcome unimaginable hardships and difficulties. It is only through the help of supporters like you that these remarkable young people can have the opportunity to experience the world beyond their apartment, city street, and block walls.
