"Seventh Graders Journal About Boojum Experience" was published by the Chandler School in Pasadena, CA in their newsletter for parents, alumni and friends. The article has some wonderful pictures and quotes from students that canoed on the Colorado River, backpacked in the High Sierra's and rock climbed in Joshua Tree National Park.
"Buzzing with Bees" was published in the March issue of the High Country Journal. The article is a great overview of a group of Hamilton Elementary students that participated in a Boojum Honeybee and World Health program.
"Bees Bring Science to Life" was published in the Press Enterprise April 16, 2009. The article describes the Boojum' traveling Honeybee and World Health program at the Santa Rosa Academy in Wildomar, CA.
"Building Tomorrow's Leaders: Girl Scouts Soar to New Heights with the Boojum Institute" was printed in the The Riverside Press Enterprise August 13, 2008. It covers a group of camp Azalea Trails campers participating in a ropes challenge course in Idyllwild, CA.
"OUTDOORS: The Rules are Different, An Introduction to Experiential Learning", by Jim Zuberbuhler was published in the Fall 1995 issue of Independent School Magazine. This article is an introduction to, and overview of, Outdoor Education.
The article "Boojum Institute Helps At-Risk Youth" appeared in the April 23, 1998 issue of the Idyllwild Town Crier. It describes a Boojum Institute adventure challenge program for the Alliance for African Assistance.
"City Kids Tackle Desert Wilderness: Field trip becomes a hands-on lesson in teamwork, survival" describes an outdoor education program, was published in the San Francisco Chronicle on January 14, 2001. This Boojum-sponsored program took 11 inner-city kids camping in Joshua Tree National Park.
"Outdoor Program Rises from Ashes" was on the front page of the Yucca Valley, CA Hi Desert Star, on August 4, 2006, following the loss by fire of Boojum's office and the remarkable determination of staff to rebuild and continue programs without interruption.
